SHERIDAN, WY (July 27, 2017) – Advanced Communications Technology, Inc. (ACT) and CoBank have announced a pair of $1,500 donations to support Sheridan County YMCA’s Living Our Cause capital campaign to fund the construction of an aquatic center, renovating existing pool space and an endowment for future operation cost.
The aquatics center will feature a family leisure swim pool, beach entry for young children, slides, splash pads, lap pool, and a current channel. The ground breaking of the new aquatic center was Wednesday, July 5.
“There have been many very generous donations from the entire community,” said ACT General Manager Aaron Sopko, “We’re just happy to have the opportunity to participate in the effort”.
“The Living Our Cause campaign will transform the Y,” said YMCA Executive Director Jay McGinnis, “With the help of the community, the work that we do every day is bigger, better, and stronger”.
